Meallions Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how New Square Holding Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Meallions," "we," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of users who visit, access, or use websites controlled by Meallions where this Privacy Policy is posted (collectively, the "Sites"), as well as certain other interactive features or downloads owned or controlled by Meallions that are available through or interact with the Sites.

By accessing or using the Sites, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Sites. Please also review our Terms of Use (available at meallions.com), which govern your use of the Sites.

1) Who We Are

Meallions is the controller of the information and personal data collected through the Sites, either by itself, depending on the country or region noted at the top of the respective Site.

2) Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

On the Sites;
In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Sites;
Through mobile or desktop applications you download from the Sites that provide non-browser-based interactions between you and the Sites; and
When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected:

On any other website (unless we specifically state otherwise on such other website);
On websites operated or managed by Related Parties;
By us offline or through other means, including on any other website operated by Meallions or any Related Parties or Service Providers; or
By any third party (including Related Parties or Service Providers), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Sites.

3) Definitions

For purposes of this Privacy Policy:

"Personal Information" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person or entity (depending on the jurisdiction from which you access the Sites), such as name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, birth date, gender, identity number, company name, company contact details, and job position. (All information you provide under Active Collection of Personal Information is considered Personal Information.)

"Database" means any organized set of Personal Information subject to Information Processing, by electronic means or otherwise.

"Information Processing" means any operation enabling the collection, recording, organization, storage, alteration, linkage, assessment, blocking, erasure, dissociation, and in general processing of Personal Information, as well as its assignment to third parties through transmission, searches, interconnections, or transfers.

"Data Controller" means the natural person or entity that owns or decides how and why Personal Information will be processed.

"Information Dissociation" means processing Personal Information so that the information cannot be associated with any identified or identifiable person.

"Related Party" means any affiliates, entities that control Meallions and/or subsidiaries of Meallions.

"Promotion" means any sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions offered through the Sites that may require registration.

"Service Providers" means third-party providers (that are not Related Parties) that perform services for us, such as website hosting, order fulfillment, delivering promotional materials and product offers, clearing and processing payments, or other services on our behalf.

"Advertisers" means any third-party advertisers.

"Third-Party Websites" means websites or locations operated and controlled by third parties other than Meallions or its Related Parties.

4) Use of Personal Information

Meallions may use your Personal Information, whether collected actively or passively:

To provide you with information or services, or process transactions that you have requested or agreed to receive;
To process your registration with the Sites, including verifying that your email address is active and valid;
To improve the Sites or our services; to customize your experience on the Sites; or, with your consent, to serve you content relevant to you;
To contact you about your use of the Sites and, at our discretion, changes to our policies;
For internal business purposes;
For purposes disclosed at the time you provide your Personal Information;
To present the Sites and their contents to you;
To provide you with notices about your account and/or subscription, including expiration and renewal notices;
To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;
To notify you about changes to the Sites or any products or services we offer or provide through them;
In any other way we may describe when you provide the information; and
For any other purpose with your consent.

We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third parties' goods and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way, email hi@meallions.com to adjust your preferences. We may use information we have collected from you to enable the display of advertisements to our advertisers' target audiences. We do not disclose your Personal Information to advertisers without your consent; however, if you click or interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may infer that you meet its target criteria.

5) Active Collection of Personal Information

To access or take advantage of some areas of the Sites, we may ask you to provide Personal Information (e.g., when you register, subscribe to a service, request support, enter a Promotion, or report a problem). We will request your express consent to our active collection of Personal Information where required by law. Continued use of the Sites after such consent may constitute reaffirmation of consent for subsequent requests for Personal Information.

Information we collect on or through our Sites may include: (i) records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us; (ii) your responses to surveys for research purposes; (iii) details of transactions you carry out through the Sites and fulfillment of your orders (you may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through the Sites); and (iv) your search queries on the Sites.

We may obtain demographic or similar information from Service Providers and, with your consent, may combine that information with the Personal Information we collect to create a profile so that we may provide you with personalized services and interactive communications, advise you about new products that may be of interest, and conduct internal market research and product development. We treat all such combined information as Personal Information subject to this Privacy Policy.

You may elect not to submit Personal Information; however, you may not be able to access certain features or functionality of the Sites. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of information you submit.

6) Passive Collection of Information

We and our Service Providers may use a variety of technologies to automatically collect information when you use the Sites and certain third-party sites (see Network Advertising and Retargeting below). This information may include demographic information, browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, browsing actions and patterns, clickstream data (page-by-page paths you take as you browse the Sites or certain third-party sites), and other details of your visits, including traffic data, location data, logs, and resources you access and use on the Sites. Some third parties may also collect similar information when you visit the Sites or other online services.

Methods we and our Service Providers may use include:

Cookies. Data files placed on a device when visiting a website, used for purposes including tracking preferences and pages visited for analytics, marketing, and other purposes. Our Service Providers may use cookies or web beacons to help deliver Site content, compile metrics and analytics, and help improve and customize your experiences on the Sites and in our advertising efforts. You may disable cookies using your browser's settings, but some features may not function properly or may operate slowly. Disabling cookies removes all cookies, including those you may find useful (e.g., saved passwords).
Web Beacons and Pixels. Small graphic images (also called Internet tags or clear gifs) in web pages and emails. We may use these to count visitors, monitor navigation, count opened emails or viewed links, and for third-party marketing as described in Network Advertising and Retargeting.
Embedded Scripts. Programming code designed to collect information about your interactions with the Sites. It is downloaded to your device from our web server or a third party we work with, active only while you are connected to the Sites, and deleted or deactivated thereafter.

Passively collected information may be combined or associated with your Personal Information. If we associate such information with Personal Information, we treat the combined information as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.

We may send you product promotions we think may interest you based on passively collected information. In each case, this Privacy Policy applies unless otherwise disclosed by us.

7) Network Advertising and Retargeting

Meallions participates in online advertising networks and exchanges that display relevant advertisements based on users' interests as reflected in browsing of the Sites and certain third-party sites. These companies use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to passively collect information (which may include Personal Information) to tailor the advertising you see on the Sites or elsewhere on the web. Some information about your browsing of Meallions's services and certain third-party sites may be shared with these companies for delivering ads to you; likewise, Meallions may receive information about third-party sites you have visited.

This Privacy Policy does not cover third parties' own collection or use of information or their methods (e.g., cookies, web beacons). We make no representations regarding their policies or practices and encourage you to review their privacy policies. The Sites do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

8) Information from Third Parties

We may, from time to time, obtain supplemental information about you from third-party sources or marketing partners (e.g., in connection with co-branded websites or promotions) and from network advertising services. If we receive Personal Information from a third party and/or we combine that information with Personal Information we collect, we treat it as Personal Information. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by third parties or how such third parties collect and use such information.

9) Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions

If you participate in a Promotion, your participation is governed by the terms, conditions, or official rules that apply, which may include, except where prohibited by law, permitting the sponsor(s) to use your name, voice, and/or likeness in advertising or marketing associated with the Promotion. Your Personal Information may be disclosed to third parties or the public in connection with administration of the Promotion, including winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law or permitted by the official rules (e.g., on a winners list).

10) Disclosure of Information

Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, Meallions does not share, rent, or sell Personal Information to third parties for their own marketing or solicitation purposes. We may disclose aggregated information and information that does not identify any individual without restriction. We may, in our discretion, share de-identified browsing information with third parties such as advertisers and business partners (e.g., age segmentation of visitors).

We may also disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide:

To Related Parties;
To Service Providers;
To a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Meallions's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceedings, in which personal information held by Meallions about users of the Sites is among the assets transferred;
To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;
For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information;
With your consent;
To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have not opted out of these disclosures;
To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request;
To enforce or apply our Terms of Use (available at meallions.com) and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; or
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Meallions, our customers, or others.

11) Your Rights

Right to Access, Rectify, Erase, and Object to Processing. You can request to (i) access Personal Information we have about you and how it is processed; (ii) rectify Personal Information if incomplete or inaccurate; (iii) erase Personal Information used for any of the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy; and (iv) object to processing of your Personal Information at any time by emailing hi@meallions.com.

To help us process your request, please include your name, postal address, telephone, email address, and any other contact details we can use to verify your identity and contact you; a copy of your ID card or photo ID; and a clear description of the Personal Information you wish to access, rectify, erase, limit the use or disclosure of, or object to processing of, as well as any other information helpful to locate the information. We will respond consistent with applicable data-protection laws.

We may refuse a request to change information if the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Revocation of Consent; Limitation of Use and Disclosure. You may revoke consent to Meallions's processing of your Personal Information at any time by emailing hi@meallions.com. We will delete Personal Information from our active systems, subject to legal retention obligations and technical limitations (e.g., backups). You may also limit use or disclosure of your Personal Information by contacting us at hi@meallions.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

Opting Out of Mailing Lists. You can ask us to delete your name and address from our correspondence lists at any time by emailing hi@meallions.com.

Opting Out of Commercial Emails. If you do not wish to receive commercial emails about our products or services, you may opt out at the time you provide your Personal Information or at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or emailing hi@meallions.com.

Opting Out of Network Advertising Retargeting. If you do not wish to receive retargeted advertising based on your activity on third-party sites, you may disable cookies (see Cookies above) and clear your browser history.

Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for promotional purposes, email hi@meallions.com.

Promotional Offers from Meallions. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by Meallions to promote our own or third parties' products or services, email hi@meallions.com or use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to Meallions as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience, or other transactions.

Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information we collect or that you provide to deliver advertisements according to advertisers' target-audience preferences, email hi@meallions.com. For this opt-out to function, your browser must accept cookies.

12) Children's Privacy

The Sites are not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under 18 may provide information to or on the Sites. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on the Sites or through any of their features; do not register on the Sites; do not make purchases through the Sites; and do not provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected Personal Information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at hi@meallions.com.

Access to and use of the Sites by children under 18 shall be the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians. Those of legal age who are parents, legal guardians, or representatives will be responsible if children under their guardianship access the Sites.

13) Third-Party Links

The Sites may include hyperlinks to Third-Party Websites (including social media sites and applications). These Third-Party Websites may use their own cookies, web beacons, and other technology to collect information about you and may solicit Personal Information from you. Once you leave the Sites, Meallions has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of other sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any Third-Party Websites before providing them with Personal Information.

14) Storage and Transfer of Information

The Sites are operated in the jurisdiction shown at the top of the Site you access (the "Relevant Jurisdiction"). Information we collect, including Personal Information, will be processed and stored in the Relevant Jurisdiction and may also be transferred to, processed, and stored in other jurisdictions where privacy and data-protection laws may differ from those of your country. Courts and other authorities in the Relevant Jurisdiction and such other jurisdictions may, in certain circumstances, be entitled to access your Personal Information. By using the Sites or providing information through the Sites, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the Relevant Jurisdiction and other jurisdictions. Regardless of where processing takes place, our Service Providers are required by contract to protect the confidentiality and security of your Personal Information.

15) Security; Retention

Meallions retains Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws. We take commercially reasonable steps to help protect and secure Personal Information. However, no data transmission over the Internet, wireless transmission, or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant its security. You use the Sites and provide information at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the Sites.

16) Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Where required by law, we will notify you of material changes (e.g., by email to the primary email address in your account and/or by a notice on the Sites' home pages). You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you and for periodically visiting the Sites and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
